Index of the number of employees in industry, October 2014

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in October 2014, in comparison
with October 2013, was 109.5.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in October 2014, in comparison with October 2013,
decreased by 4.0%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 11.6%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and
air conditioning supply it decreased by 1.6%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in October 2014, in comparison with October 2013, was
higher in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 6.8%, Capital goods industries by 114.1%, Durable consumer goods
industries by 6.0% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 2.9%, but lower in Energy by 5.0%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - October 2014, in comparison with January - October
2013, was 107.9.
