Index of the number of employees in industry, September 2014

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in September 2014, in comparison
with September 2013, was 110.4.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in September 2014, in comparison with September
2013, decreased by 2.8%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 12.5%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam
and air conditioning supply it decreased by 1.3%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in September 2014, in comparison with September 2013, was
higher in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 8.2%, Capital goods industries by 111.0%, Durable consumer goods
industries by 7.3% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 4.1%, but lower in Energy by 4.6%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - September 2014, in comparison with January -
September 2013, was 107.7.
