Indices of the number of employees in industry, July 2014

According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in July 2014, in comparison with
July 2013, was 106.3.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in July 2014, in comparison with July 2013, decreased by
3.0%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 7.8%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning
supply it decreased by 1.9%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in July 2014, in comparison with July 2013, was higher in
Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 4.8%, Capital goods industries by 96.9%, Durable consumer goods industries
by 6.3%, at the same level in Non-durable consumer goods industries, and lower in Energy by 5.1%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - July 2014, in comparison with January - July 2013, was
106.9.
