According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in June 2014, in
comparison with June 2013, was 107.4.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in June 2014, in comparison with June
2013, increased by 0.6%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 8.7%, whereas in the section
Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 0.8%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in June 2014, in comparison with June 2013,
was higher in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 3.1%, Capital goods industries by 99.7%, Durable
consumer goods industries by 8.5% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 2.5%, but lower in Energy by
4.2%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - June 2014, in comparison with January -
June 2013, was 107.0.
