According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in October 2022, in comparison with October 2021, was 100.3.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in October 2022, in comparison with October 2021, decreased by 3.8%, in the section Manufacturing it increased by 0.6% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 0.3%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in October 2022, in comparison with October 2021, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 1.1% and Capital goods by 8.7%, but lower in Energy by 6.3%, Durable consumer goods by 3.1% and Non-durable consumer goods by 4.2%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - October 2022, in comparison with January - October 2021, was 98.7.
