According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in September 2022, in comparison with September 2021, was 99.6.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in September 2022, in comparison with September 2021, decreased by 3.3%, in the section Manufacturing it decreased by 0.2% and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 0.3%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in September 2022, in comparison with September 2021, was lower in Energy by 6.3%, Durable consumer goods by 2.1% and Non-durable consumer goods by 4.9%, but higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 0.9% and Capital goods by 7.3%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - September 2022, in comparison with January - September 2021, was 98.5.
