According to the State Statistical Office data, the index of the number of employees in industry in September, 2013 in comparison
with September 2012, was 101.3.
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in September 2013, in comparison with September
2012, increased by 8.7%, in the section Manufacturing industry it increased by 0.7%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam
and air conditioning supply it increased by 0.9%.
The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in September 2013, in comparison with September 2012,
was higher in Energy by 6.8%, Capital goods industries by 1.6%, Durable consumer goods industries by 3.8% and Non-durable
consumer goods industries by 2.0%, but lower in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 2.4%.
The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - September 2013, in comparison with January -
September 2012, was 100.8.
