According to the data of the State Statistical Office, there were 185 788 students in the regular primary and lower secondary schools at the end of the school year 2019/2020 which is 0.5% less than the previous school year.
The number of students in the regular upper secondary schools at the end of the school year 2019/2020 was 68 273, which is 2.5% less than the previous school year.
