Primary, lower secondary and upper secondary schools in the Republic of Macedonia at the beginning of the school year 2016/2017

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of students in the regular primary and lower secondary schools at
the beginning of the school year 2016/2017 was 192 715, which is an increase of 3.6% compared to the previous school year.
The number of students in the regular upper secondary schools at the beginning of the school year 2016/2017 was 76 394, which
is a decrease of 4.9% compared to the previous school year.
