Primary, lower secondary and upper secondary schools in the Republic of North Macedonia at the beginning of the school year 2023/2024

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of students in the regular primary and lower secondary schools at the

beginning of the school year 2023/2024 was 182 124, which is a decrease of 1.6% compared to the previous school year.

The number of students in the regular upper secondary schools at the beginning of the school year 2023/2024 was 67 278, which is a

decrease of 2.8% compared to the previous school year.
