Reported, accused and convicted adult perpetrators of criminal offences and children in conflict with the law, 2017

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of reported adults – known perpetrators in 2017, compared to 2016,
decreased by 10.6%.
In 2017, compared to 2016, the number of convicted adult perpetrators decreased by 23.2%, and the number of accused adult
perpetrators decreased by 20.4%.
The number of reported children in conflict with the law - perpetrators of criminal offences in 2017, in comparison with 2016, decreased by 1.5%.
In 2017, compared to 2016, the number of convicted children in conflict with the law - perpetrators of criminal offences decreased by
21.4%.
