Reported, accused and convicted adult perpetrators of criminal offences and children in conflict with the law, 2023

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of reported adults – known perpetrators in 2023, compared to 2022,

decreased by 6.9%.

In 2023, compared to 2022, the number of convicted adult perpetrators decreased by 16%, and the number of accused adult perpetrators

decreased by 15.8%.

The number of reported children in conflict with the law – perpetrators of criminal offences in 2023, in comparison with 2022, decreased

by 8.5%, while the number of convicted children in conflict with the law – perpetrators of criminal offences increased by 17.2%.
