Turnover indices in services, 2014 - 2017

In 2017 the total turnover index in services compared to 2016 on annual base is 100.9, while quarterly the index in 2017 ranges between 87.6 in the first quarter to 109.5 in the fourth quarter.

The turnover index in services is constantly increasing during 2017 and it was 116.2 in second quarter in relation to the first quarter, 104.4 in the third quarter in relation to the second quarter and 103.0 in the fourth quarter in relation to the third quarter.

Compared to the base year (2015) in the 2017 the highest growth was recorded in Postal and courier activities (by 45.1%) and in the Legal and accounting activities (by 13.6%). Turnover increased also in Travel agency, tour operator and other reservation service and related activities (by 12.6%) and in Rental and leasing activities (by 10.2%), while it decreased mostly in Motion picture, video and television programme production, sound recording and music publishing activities (by 28.3%) and in Publishing activities (by 10.1%).

The trend shown in the Graph. 1, for the period 2014-2017, presents a slightly increase of the turnover indices in services.
