Agricultural areas and crop production, 2018

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the agricultural areas decreased by 0.1% in 2018 in comparison with 2017. An
increase in cultivated land was registered for arable land and gardens by 0.3%, for orchards by 1.7% and for vineyards by 1.6%. A
decrease was registered for meadows by 0.4% and pastures by 0.5%.
In 2018, compared to 2017, production increased for almost all crops and fruit listed in the news release.
