Transport of passengers by bus, sthird quarter of 2018

According to the data of State Statistical Office, in the third quarter of 2018, compared to the same period of 2017, the total number of passengers carried decreased by 0.1%. According to the kind of transport, the number of passengers carried in urban transport decreased by 6.2% and in the international transport by 13.4%, while in suburban transport it increased by 8.5% and in national transport by 6.4%.
In comparison with the second quarter of 2018, the total number of passengers carried decreased by 18.4%. According to the kind of transport, the number of passengers carried in international transport increased by 26.3%, while it decreased in urban transport by 19.0%, in suburban transport by 22.5% and in national transport by 2.2%.
In the third quarter of 2018, in comparison with the same period of 2017, the total number of passenger - kilometers in road passenger transport increased by 0.5%. According to the kind of transport, the number of passenger- kilometers in urban transport decreased by 5.6% and in international transport by 12.8%, while it increased in suburban transport by 12.3%, and in national transport by 12.1%.
Compared to the second quarter of 2018, the total number of passenger - kilometers decreased by 2.2%. According to the kind of
transport, the number of passenger - kilometers in urban transport it decreased by 31.6%, in suburban transport by 4.8% and in national transport by 3.3%, while in international transport it increased by 28.1%.
