Transport of passengers by bus, third quarter of 2017

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the third quarter of 2017, compared to the same period of 2016, the total
number of passengers carried in road passenger transport decreased by 3.7%. According to the kind of transport, the number
of passengers carried in urban transport declined by 6.8% and in suburban transport by 3.5%, while in national transport it
increased by 11.7% and in international transport by 12.6%.

In comparison with the second quarter of 2017, the total number of passengers carried fell by 19.1%. According to the kind of
transport, the number of passengers carried in urban transport decreased by 15.6%, in suburban transport by 28.7% and in
national transport by 4.4%, whereas in international transport it grew by 33.2%.

In the third quarter of 2017, in comparison with the same period of 2016, the total number of passenger-kilometres in road
passenger transport rose by 1.6%. According to the kind of transport, the number of passenger-kilometres in urban transport
increased by 1.7%, in suburban transport it dropped by 7.6%, while in national transport it grew by 5.2% and in international
transport by 4.6%.

Compared to the second quarter of 2017, the total number of passenger-kilometres declined by 17.3%. According to the kind of
transport, the number of passenger-kilometres in urban transport fell by 44.4%, in suburban transport by 40.0% and in national
transport by 2.5%, whereas in international transport it rose by 19.8%.

Data for the first and the second quarter have been revised in accordance with the revised data from the reporting unit.
