According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the second quarter of 2016, in comparison with the same period of 2015,
the number of passengers carried in urban transport decreased by 4.1%, in suburban transport by 1.3%, in national transport by
2.4%, and in international transport by 8.8%.
In comparison with the first quarter of 2016, the number of passengers carried in urban transport increased by 5.1%, in suburban
transport by 12.5%, in national transport by 7.5%, and in international transport by 17.2%.
In the second quarter of 2016, in comparison with the same period of 2015, the number of passenger-kilometres in urban
transport declined by 3.5%, in suburban transport by 12.9%, in national transport by 6.5%, and in international transport by
33.8%.
In comparison with the first quarter of 2016, the number of passenger-kilometres in urban transport fell by 9.1% and in suburban
transport by 2.7%, whereas the number of passenger-kilometres in national transport grew by 8.8% and in international transport
by 2.9%.
