According to the data of the State Statistical Office, a total of 10 131 thousand passengers were carried in road passenger transport in
the third quarter of 2023, a decrease of 2.5% compared to the same period last year. According to the kind of transport, the number of
passengers carried in urban transport decreased by 6.6%, in suburban transport increased by 0.5%, in national transport increased by
3.1% and in international transport by 38.2%.
In the third quarter of 2023, in comparison with the same period of 2022, the total number of passenger-kilometres in road passenger
transport increased by 14.8%. According to the kind of transport, the number of passenger-kilometres in urban transport decreased
by 4.2%, in suburban transport decreased by 5.4%, in national transport increased by 9.7% and in international transport increased by
23.5%.
