According to the data of the State Statistical Office, a total of 10 005 thousand passengers were carried in road passenger transport in the fourth quarter of 2020, a decrease of 51.9% compared to the same period last year. According to the kind of transport, the number of passengers carried in urban transport decreased by 53.4%, in suburban transport by 48.5%, in national transport by 54.8%, and in international transport by 78.6%.
In the fourth quarter of 2020, in comparison with the same period of 2019, the total number of passenger-kilometres in road passenger transport decreased by 75.0%. According to the kind of transport, the number of passenger-kilometres in urban transport decreased by 86.9%, while in suburban transport by 78.6%, in national transport by 65.6%, and in international transport by 70.0%.
