According to the data of the State Statistical Office, a total of 7 136 thousand passengers were carried in road passenger transport by buses in the second quarter of 2020, a decrease of 64.8 % compared to the same period last year. According to the kind of transport, the number of passengers carried by buses in urban transport decreased by 68.6%, in suburban transport by 56.7 %, in national transport by 74.8 %, and in international transport by 99.7 %.
In the second quarter of 2020, in comparison with the same period of 2019, the total number of passenger-kilometres in road passenger transport by buses decreased by 88.2%. According to the kind of transport, the number of passenger-kilometres in urban transport decreased by 88.8%, while in suburban transport by 83.9%, in national transport by 80.6%, and in international transport by 99.7%.
