Industrial producer price indices, total, January 2013

Producers of industrial products sell their products on the domestic and non-domestic market. In order to see the price movement
on the domestic and non-domestic market, the State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia started the calculation of the
Industrial producer price indices, total.
According to the State Statistical Office data, in January 2013, the Industrial producer prices, total, decreased by 1.1% at the
monthly level, while at the annual level the prices increased by 1.6%.
In January 2013, in comparison with December 2012, the Industrial producer prices, total, decreased in the section Mining and
quarrying by 0.5%, in the section Manufacturing industry by 1.2%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning
supply by 1.4%.
In January 2013, in comparison with January 2012, the Industrial producer prices, total, increased in the section Mining and
quarrying by 2.4%, in the section Manufacturing industry by 0.1%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning
supply by 23.5%.
