Electricity, natural gas, coal and petroleum products, May 2016 According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in May 2016, the total consumption by types of energy commodities in the Republic of Macedonia was: 548 059 ?Wh of electricity, 3.251 mil. nm3 of natural gas, 330 496 tonnes of coal and 91 735 tonnes of petroleum products. Gross national electricity production participated with 72.3% in gross national electricity consumption, while 92.3% of the total national consumption of coals was used for generation of electricity.
