Electricity, natural gas, coal and petroleum products, March 2016
According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in March 2016, the total consumption by types of energy commodities in
the Republic of Macedonia was: 673 382 ?Wh of electricity, 12.307 mil. nm³ of natural gas, 505 286 tonnes of coal and 83 107
tonnes of petroleum products.
Gross national electricity production participated with 72.2% in gross national electricity consumption, while 96.6% of the total
national consumption of coals was used for generation of electricity.
