Electricity, natural gas, coal and petroleum products, May 2014
According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in May 2014, the total consumption by energy commodities in the Republic of Macedonia was: 639 152 MWh of electricity, 3.400 mil. nm3 of natural gas, 643 654 tonnes of coal and 72 709 tonnes of petroleum products.
Gross national electricity production participated with 72.0% in gross national electricity consumption, while 96.4% of the total national consumption of coals were used for generation of electricity.
In April 2014, production of electricity from wind power plants was registered for the first time in the Republic of Macedonia, which in May 2014 participated with 1.4% in the total gross national electricity production.
