According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in May 2013, the gross national electricity consumption in the Republic of Macedonia was 599 996 ?Wh, which represents a decrease of 8.77% compared to the same month of the previous year.
In the gross national electricity consumption, net import participated with 12.79%, while gross domestic production with 87.21%.
Natural gas, May 2013
According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in May 2013, the import of natural gas in the Republic of Macedonia was 2.512 mil. mn3, which represents an increase of 14.48% compared to the same month of the previous year.
In the total consumption of natural gas, natural gas for energy transformation participated with 4.30%, while final consumption with 95.29%.
