According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, in April 2019, in comparison with April 2018, the turnover in retail trade increased in the following groups/classes: Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco (by 11.1% in nominal terms and 7.7% in real terms), Retail sale of non-food products, except fuel (by 5.1% in nominal terms and 5.5% in real terms), and Retail trade, except automotive fuel (by 8.1% in nominal terms and 6.7% in real terms).
The turnover in retail trade decreased in the group/class Retail trade of automotive fuel (by 3.1% in nominal terms and 6.0% in real terms).
