According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, in September 2018, in comparison with September 2017, the turnover in retail trade increased in the following groups/classes: Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco (by 11.4% in nominal terms and 8.6% in real terms), Retail sale of non-food products (except fuel), (by 8.7% in nominal terms and 6.1% in real terms) and Retail trade, except automotive fuel (by 10.0% in nominal terms and 7.8% in real terms).
In the group/class Retail trade of automotive fuel the turnover grew by 16.6% in nominal terms, but fell by 1.3% in real terms.
