According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, in August 2018, in comparison with August 2017, the turnover in retail trade increased in the following groups/classes: Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco (by 11.7% in nominal terms and 9.1% in real terms), Retail sale of non-food products (except fuel), (by 6.5% in nominal terms and 4.4% in real terms) and Retail trade, except automotive fuel (by 9.1% in nominal terms and 7.1% in real terms).
In the group/class Retail trade of automotive fuel the turnover grew by 13.9% in nominal terms, but fell by 4.3% in real terms.
