According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, in March 2017, in comparison with March 2016, the turnover in retail trade increased in the group/class Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco (by 2.9% in nominal terms and 4.3% in real terms), while in the group/class Retail trade of automotive fuel, the turnover grew by 17.9% in nominal terms, but fell by 0.5% in real terms.
The turnover in retail trade decreased in the following groups/classes Retail sale of non-food products (except fuel), (by 14.6% in nominal terms and 12.4% in real terms), and Retail trade, except automotive fuel (by 6.9% in nominal terms and 6.2% in real terms).
