According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, in July 2024, in comparison with July 2023, the turnover in retail trade increased in nominal and real terms in the groups/classes: Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco by 20.2% in nominal and 17.1% in real terms, Retail sale of non-food products (except fuel) by 8.5% in nominal and 5.1% in real terms, and Retail trade, except automotive fuel by 14.1% in nominal and 10.9% in real terms, while the turnover increased only in nominal terms in the group Retail trade of automotive fuel by 1.3%, and the real rate decreased by 2.6%.
