Turnover indices in the Trade Sector, December 2023

According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, in December 2023, in comparison with December 2022, the turnover

in retail trade increased only in nominal rates in the group/class Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco, by 2.5%, while in the group

Retail trade, except automotive fuel the nominal rate remains the same and the real rate decreases by 4.0%. Fell in nominal and real

terms has in the following groups/classes: Retail trade of automotive fuel by 12.1% in nominal terms and 7.6% in real terms and in Retail

sale of non-food products, except fuel (by 2.5% in nominal terms and by 7.2% in real terms).
