Turnover indices in the Trade Sector, September 2023

According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, in September 2023, in comparison with September 2022, the turnover

in retail trade increased in nominal and real terms only in the group/class Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco, by 9.7% in nominal

terms and 2.1% in real terms, while in the group/class Retail sale of non-food products (except fuel) the turnover increased by 1.7% in

nominal terms, but decreased by 3.9% in real terms, and in Retail trade, except automotive fuel it grew by 5.8% in nominal terms, but

fell by 0.9% in real terms. A decrease in nominal and real terms was registered only in Retail trade of automotive fuel, by 8.3% in nominal

terms and 5.0% in real terms.
