Turnover indices in the Trade Sector, August 2023

According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, in August 2023, in comparison with August 2022, the turnover in retail

trade increased only in nominal rates in the group/class Retail sale of non-food products, except fuel by 3.9%, while in the following

group/class the turnover decreased in nominal and in real terms: Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco (by 4.7% in nominal terms

and by 12.9% in real terms), in Retail trade, except automotive fuel (by 0.6% in nominal terms and by 8.2% in real terms) and in Retail

trade of automotive fuel (by 18.8% in nominal terms and by 9.8% in real terms).
