Turnover indices in the Trade Sector, July 2023

According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, in July 2023, in comparison with July 2022, the turnover in retail trade

increased in nominal rates and in real rates only in the group/class Retail sale of non-food products (except fuel), by 7.6% in nominal

terms and by 0.5% in real terms, while in the following group/class: Retail trade, except automotive fuel (increased by 1.5% in nominal

terms and decreased by 6.5% in real terms) and in Retail trade of automotive fuel (decreased by 20.6% in nominal terms and increased

by 5.5% in real terms). The turnover decreased in both nominal and real terms in Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco by 4.2% in

nominal terms and by13.0% in real terms.
