Turnover indices in the Trade Sector, April 2023

According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, in April 2023, in comparison with April 2022, the turnover in retail trade

increased in nominal rates and in real rates in the following group/class: Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco, (by 14.7% in nominal

terms and by 0.5% in real terms), while in the following grups/clases Retail trade, except automotive fuel increased by 9.6% in nominal

terms and decreased by 1.5% in real terms and in Retail sale of non-food products (except fuel) increased by 4.4% in nominal terms and

decreased by 3.5% in real terms, while the turnover in nominal and real terms decreased only in the following group/class: Retail trade

of automotive fuel (by 16.5% in nominal terms and by 15.0% in real terms).
