According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, in August 2021, in comparison with August 2020, the turnover in retail trade increased in the following groups/classes: Retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco (by 11.8% in nominal terms and 7.9% in real terms), Retail sale of non-food products (except fuel) (by 18.3% in nominal terms and 16.4% in real terms), Retail trade, except automotive fuel (by 15.0% in nominal terms and 12.1% in real terms) and Retail trade of automotive fuel (by 57.1% in nominal terms and 31.0% in real terms).
