According to the State Statistical Office final data, in 2013, retail trade turnover increased in real terms in the group Non-food products, except fuel, while it decreased in the groups/classes: Food, beverages and tobacco, Retail trade, except fuel and Retail trade of automotive fuel.
Trade turnover indicators measure the turnover in retail and wholesale trade in the form of nominal and real (price adjusted) index numbers, and their change rates rather than absolute (monetary) turnover. Hence, the indicator describes exclusively the development and not the level of turnover.
Data published in this release are final data, calculated with 2010 as a constant base year, as well as compared with the same month of the previous year. Calculated indices are not adjusted (seasonally, calendar or working-day adjusted).
