According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in August 2012, in
comparison with August 2011, was 78.9.
The index of domestic turnover in industry in August 2012, in comparison with August 2011, decreased by 29.5%, and the index
of non-domestic turnover in industry decreased by 14.9%.
The turnover index in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in August 2012, in comparison with August 2011, increased
by 32.4%, while in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 23.5%.
The turnover index by Main Industrial Groupings in August 2012, in comparison with August 2011, was lower in Energy by 99.1%,
Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 0.6% and Durable consumer goods industries by 23.6%, but higher in Capital
goods industries by 6.4% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 1.4%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in August 2012, in comparison with July 2012, was 93.7, while in the
period January-August 2012, in comparison with January-August 2011, the turnover index in industry was 88.9.
