According to the State Statistical Office data, the turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2017, in
comparison with May 2016, was 113.1.
The domestic turnover in industry in May 2017, in comparison with May 2016, increased by 4.1%, and the non-domestic turnover
in industry increased by 15.3%.
The turnover in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in May 2017, in comparison with May 2016, increased by 99.5%,
while in the section Manufacturing it increased by 11.4%.
The turnover by Main Industrial Groupings in May 2017, in comparison with May 2016, was higher in Intermediate goods, except
energy by 15.3%, Capital goods by 14.8%, Durable consumer goods by 2.9% and Non-durable consumer goods by 7.3%.
The turnover index in industry in the Republic of Macedonia in May 2017, in comparison with April 2017, was 113.4, while in the
period January-May 2017, in comparison with January-May 2016, the turnover index in industry was 109.1.
