The construction cost indices for new residential buildings are intended for reviewing or monitoring costs incurred by a construction company in the execution of the construction process of building new residential buildings. According to the State Statistical Office data, in the first quarter of 2014, the construction costs for new residential buildings decreased by 1.6% in comparison with the first quarter of 2013.
In the first quarter of 2014, compared to the fourth quarter of 2013, the construction costs for new residential buildings decreased by 1.8%, the material costs decreased by 1.4%, while the labour costs decreased by 3.1%.
In the first quarter of 2014, in comparison with the first quarter of 2013, the construction costs for new residential buildings decreased by 1.6%, the material costs decreased by 3.1%, whereas the labour costs increased by 3.2%.
