According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in January 2013, in comparison with January 2012, was 98.7.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in January 2013, in comparison with January 2012, increased by 17.6%, in the section Manufacturing industry it decreased by 4.5%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 0.7%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in January 2013, in comparison with January 2012, was higher in Energy by 2.2%, Capital goods industries by 11.4% and Non-durable consumer goods industries by 5.1%, but lower in Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 13.1% and Durable consumer goods industries by 5.8%.
