According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in June 2016, in comparison with June 2015, was 95.6. The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in June 2016, in comparison with June 2015, decreased by 21.1%, in the section Manufacturing it decreased by 0.3%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 20.4%. The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in June 2016, in comparison with June 2015, was higher in Durable consumer goods by 77.3%, but lower in Energy by 25.9%, Intermediate goods, except energy by 4.2%, Capital goods by 7.5% and Non-durable consumer goods by 2.6%. The industrial production index in the period January - June 2016, in comparison with January - June 2015, was 105.6.
