According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production volume index in January 2016, in comparison with January 2015, was 108.0.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in January 2016, in comparison with January 2015, decreased by 2.7%, in the section Manufacturing it increased by 6.4%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 13.1%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in January 2016, in comparison with January 2015, was higher in Energy by 15.0% and Capital goods by 29.8%, but lower in Intermediate goods, except energy by 0.1%, Durable consumer goods by 20.6% and Non-durable consumer goods by 1.0%.
