Census of catering capacities in the Republic of Macedonia,
2016
The publication Census of Catering Capacities in the Republic of Macedonia 2016 presents some of the tables
that contain processed data from the Census of Catering Capacities. The Census was carried out in accordance with the
Programme of Statistical Surveys for the period 2013-2017.
The Census was carried out in the period from 1 to 12 November 2016 on the whole territory of the Republic of
Macedonia, with reference date 30 September 2016.
The aim of the Census was to obtain comprehensive data on the number and territorial distribution of catering
establishments in the Republic of Macedonia, their type, category, turnover, surface area and number of employees.
The Census of Catering Capacities is aligned with ?urostat’s recommendations, regarding the content and
features.
The data in this publication are presented at the level of the Republic of Macedonia and at the level of municipalities.
More detailed data can be obtained from other publications, in the form of documented tables, and in the Makstat
database of the State Statistical Office.
