Enrolled students in undergraduate studies,
2016/2017
In this Statistical Review, the State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia is publishing data on students
enrolled at higher schools and faculties in the 2016/2017 academic year, as well as data on enrolled students in the period from 1972/73 to 2016/2017.
The publication also contains data on teaching personnel (teachers and supporting staff) in tertiary education
(faculties and higher vocational schools) in 2016/2017.
These data are collected from obtained reports and through regular annual surveys of enrolled students and
teaching personnel at higher vocational schools and faculties. Aggregated data are produced by several topics:
- for enrolled students: year of studies, previous completed school, age, sex, ethnic affiliation and citizenship,
permanent place of residence, etc.
- for teaching personnel: sex, age, ethnic affiliation, scientific qualifications, and type of employment.
The State Statistical Office expects that this publication will fulfil its role of providing users with data for further
analysis and planning.
