Industrial Producer Price Indices on the Domestic Market ,
2001 - 2012
Harmonization of the statistical production in the area of short-term statistics with European standards
requires compliance with Eurostat regulations, according to which every five years a change has to be made of the
base year for calculating the industrial producer price indices on the domestic market, which are used for monitoring
the trend of the phenomenon over a longer time period.
At the beginning of this year, for calculation of the industrial producer price indices on the domestic market,
the State Statistical Office changed the base year from 2005 to 2010.
To ensure a time series of comparable data, the monthly industrial producer price indices on the domestic
market from 2001 to 2012 were rebased to 2010.
