The Monthly Statistical Report for issued technical permits - GRAD. 51a is fulfilled by the municipalitities, i.e their departments responsible for urban planning.
According to the amendments to the Law on Construction ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia" No. 124 of 20.09.2010), a structure is considered as finished after a technical permit is issued for the structures of 1st and 2nd category, while for the structures of 3rd, 4th and 5th category after a report for technical control is prepared by the authorised engineer.
Definitions
Construction is any separated, freestanding functional integrity (subterranean, on the ground and waterworks), whose purpose is determined in advance and it is located on determined area.According to the type, constructions as part of construction activity, are classified into:
- Building objects
- Civil engineering works
Building objects is a construction work which comprises of building of constructions, which are mainly on the surface of the earth and above, and that are built in height. In this group are included all residential and business buildings, namely all the buildings that are associate units to the constructions of the civil engineering works and waterworks (terminal buildings, airport buildings, transformer stations, harbor terminals, silos etc.). Buildings, as part of building objects, and according the Nomenclature for building objects and construction works, are classified into residential and non-residential buildings.
Civil engineering works is a construction work which comprises of building of constructions that are mainly located on the surface of the earth or under the earth. In this group are included constructions such as: roads, railways, bridges, tunnels, dams, dikes, land cultivation systems, drainage works etc.
Reconstructionis a construction work which is performed on the construction with purpose of improving the condition of the usage of at least one dwelling in the building, or in some other construction from the building group, while for the civil engineering works (roads, railways etc.), the reconstruction increases their passing capacity.
