Passengers carried by buses
Bus - passenger road motor vehicle designed to carry more than 24 persons (including the driver), and with provision to carry seated as well as standing passengers.
Motor-coach, mini-coach or mini-bus - passenger road motor vehicle designed to seat more than nine persons (incl. the driver).
Passenger - any person who purchases a ticket and enters a bus for the purpose of being transported to a destination.
Passenger-kilometre - unit of measurement representing the transport of one passenger over a distance of one kilometre.
Urban transport - the transport of passengers within the city area.
Suburban transport - the transport of passengers to the inhabited areas which are in immediate proximity of the main cities.
National transport - transport within the boundaries of the country.
International transport - transport of passengers with place of embarkation in the country and place of disembarkation abroad and vice versa; transport of passengers between two other countries and transit transport.
