According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in 2022, a total of 1 883 persons obtained the titles of Master of Science and Specialist, of which 1 590 persons or 84.4% were masters of science and 293 persons or 15.6% were specialists. Compared with 2022, the number of masters of science and specialists decreased by 4.7%.
The participation of women in the total number of masters of science in 2022 was 61.3%.
In 2022, the largest share of master's theses, 611 or 38.4%, were in the field of business, administration and law, 18.5 % in the field of engineering, production and construction, followed by social sciences, journalism and information with 15.1.%, while the rest of the fields were less represented.
