According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the participation of innovative business entities in the total number of business entities, in the period 2020-2022 was 29.87%. According to size of the business entities, innovation in small business entities was 27.99%, in medium business entities it was 36.51% and in large business entities it was 40.37%.
By sectors, the most innovations were in the group Other professional, scientific and technical activities sector (80.95%), then in the Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply sectors (52.38%), Financial activities and insurance activities (48.72%) while the lowest percentage of innovations was in the Marketing (advertising and propaganda) and Market research sector (18.6%).
